Priscilla Ghaznavi is running for Congress in New York’s 7th District with a clear belief: the American Dream is alive when opportunity, accountability, and access move together. That belief is grounded in how she was raised, the life she has built and the work she has done. Born in Washington, D.C., to immigrant parents from Iran and Bolivia, Priscilla grew up in a household grounded in education, hard work, and respect for the systems that make progress possible. Her childhood unfolded on the National Mall, learning to ride a bike, flying kites beneath the Washington Monument, and walking the steps of history at the Lincoln Memorial and President Kennedy’s final place of rest. Public service and civic responsibility were part of everyday life, shaping her understanding that government works best when people engage, participate, and lead. New York has been her home for over three decades. From Chelsea to Greenpoint to Williamsburg, Priscilla has built her life in the very communities she now seeks to represent. She knows the rhythms of the district, its strengths, its challenges, and the opportunities waiting to be realized. Her record reflects consistent engagement in organizing, advocating, and bringing forward ideas that translate into action and measurable impact. Designing our future together is the work she has been doing for years. Priscilla is a designer by trade, with a career that spans seven publicly traded companies across business and creative leadership. She builds systems, aligns teams, and delivers results that scale. She understands how decisions move from concept to execution and how to ensure they serve people in tangible ways. Her academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a focus on International Trade, as well as additional degrees in design, merchandising, and advanced studies in Milan. While in college, she was elected President of New York State Delta Epsilon Chi (DECA), representing colleges and universities statewide, an early demonstration of her ability to lead, organize, and advocate. In May 2026, she earned her fourth degree, in Entrepreneurship, and chose to spend graduation day in the community meeting neighbors and collecting the signatures needed to secure her place on the general election ballot. Her perspective is both global and deeply local. Fluent in English and Castellano, Priscilla has traveled extensively throughout the Americas, Europe, West Asia, Asia, and North Africa and Australia. These experiences sharpened her understanding of how policy shapes economies, and everyday life across different communities, and how the United States can lead with strength and clarity. At home, her leadership is equally substantive. As past President of her Homeowners Association, during the COVID-19 pandemic, she transformed a financially strained organization into a stable, well-managed community with strong reserves. She worked across budgets, contracts, governance, and resident concerns, delivering outcomes that are structured, sustainable, and repeatable. Her approach to leadership is disciplined and clear: listen closely, solve problems iteratively, and build solutions that last. Priscilla is running as an independent voice rooted in action, accountability and results. Her campaign is centered on a simple, unifying idea: Our Future™. A future shaped with intention, built through action. Forward with focus, purpose, and a commitment to deliver for the people of New York’s 7th Congressional District. A bit about my story, I have seen my parents work extremely hard their entire lives to provide access and opportunities for my siblings and I. Our family and friends have faced many trials and tribulations with the health care system having unnecessary road blocks, and in general not delivering because of so many layers, our home life was not always stable and understand the challenges and pain points in the process to establishing that stability is a lived experience, as for education, I'm a student of life and a natural researcher on all topic. I'm especially interested in the web 3.0 space and the opportunity of innovation that is before us as New Yorkers, as a nation and mankind. Neurodiversity is near and dear to my heart as my younger brother suffered a traumatic brain injury and it has altered communication within our family and communicating with the rest of the world. Also after attending many community meetings and reaching out to our current public servants we were met with platitudes, empty promises and inaction. My community, my neighbors from our HOA have asked me to run for years to represent them because they have seen first hand what I did with our community. prior to me joining there used to be fighting at the meetings, the administration couldn't get through the meeting because they had very little participation, the care for our neighbors didn't exist. I was frustrated so I ran to get on the board and in my first year i was able to secure 90% of all the debt owned to the HOA and renegotiated contracts found us a reputable attorney, created a structure which was and is still iterative process to this day. I have been able to find understanding, accountability and homeowners feel safe knowing we are in good standing with each other. I was able to do this very easily because I have worked the top leading american companies like the Gap corporation as an executive trainee the placed on the Banana Republic Design team to create and develop a color and trend department, I then did the same for Ralph lauren as an executive and was then recruited by Walmart to do the same and the later recruited by Benjamin Moore a Berkshire Hathaway company to lead on an executive level. Everything I have, I created and earned on my own through grit and hard work. I have always found a way to achieve what I needed to achieve.
